VolkCell joins Bethnal Green Ventures' Autumn 2026 cohort

VolkCell has joined the Bethnal Green Ventures (BGV) portfolio as part of the Autumn 2026 programme.

VolkCell was selected from over 500 applicants to receive investment and join a community of startups driving positive social and environmental impact.

What VolkCell is solving for: images are one of the most abundant data types in life sciences, and key to a lot of decision-making. Yet their analysis either sits behind manual annotation or a computational skill set that wet lab scientists might not have. VolkCell gives scientists an AI-powered image analysis specialist that turns microscopy images into structured data in seconds, accurately and auditably, so they can make sense of it across experiments, sprints, projects and entire organisations.

Joining BGV is a strong vote of confidence in that mission, and the team is keen to make good on it with a real change in how research gets done.
